Kenny Wang began his classical ballet training at the age of ten in the Classical Ballet Special Program at Four Seasons Dance Center, founded by Ms. Li Qiao, where he received five consecutive years of rigorous Russian classical ballet training. At the age of fifteen, he moved to the United States and graduated with a full scholarship from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School. Upon graduation, he joined professional ballet companies, performing as a full-time dancer with the Colorado Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

In 2000, Mr. Wang advanced to the finals of the 6th New York International Ballet Competition and was invited to perform at the NYIBC Gala, presenting the Don Quixote Pas de Deux (Male Variation). He later pursued advanced pedagogical studies under renowned Russian ballet masters, including Mr. Marat Daukayev—former principal dancer of the Kirov Ballet and former Artistic Director of the Kirov Academy of Ballet—and Mr. Martin Fredmann, former Artistic Director of Colorado Ballet and former Director of the Kirov Academy, specializing in the Russian ballet teaching methodology.

After returning to Taiwan, Mr. Wang founded Bd Ballet and the Taiwan International Ballet Association, dedicating himself to developing professional ballet education aligned with international standards. Since 2009, he has initiated and organized Taiwan’s first large-scale international ballet school auditions, collaborating with institutions such as Boston Ballet School, Kirov Academy of Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Singapore Ballet, and Peridance Center. He has also invited numerous world-renowned ballet masters to Taiwan for teaching and artistic exchange.

Mr. Wang is frequently invited as a guest teacher and international jury member in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, and other regions. Through education, competition platforms, and international collaboration, he remains committed to nurturing young dancers and enabling Taiwanese ballet talent to shine on the global stage.
